| | Dear Guest,
Welcome to the "Thursday Edition" of The Friday File!
Are you excited to be having a long weekend, followed by a long weekend and, in some states, three in a row? How are you adjusting your business to take advantage of these breaks? And, importantly, how are you using this time to look after yourself? Rather than lament the interruption to normal business flow, this is an opportunity to recharge, refresh and plan for the rest of the year.
One of my goals for WNA in 2022 was to establish a global connection. Today I'm pleased to announce that WNA has been confirmed as the Australian partner for global women-owned business certifier and connector, WEConnect International.
This global connection will not only provide an opportunity for WNA Members to gain exposure to major buyers, you will also benefit from education and access to opportunities through joint WNA/WEConnect International activities and events this year.
A briefing on WEConnect International and the opportunities that may benefit women-owned businesses will be held next month. Please take a look at the WEConnect International website to find out more.
Also today we welcome Leanne Elich as our new WNA Ambassador in New South Wales. We are incredibly fortunate to have a generous and willing cohort of Ambassadors around the country. Read more about Leanne here, and all of our WNA Ambassadors here.
With courage and hope,
Cheryl Gray CEO
