Dear Guest,

I hope you are having a great week. I have been enjoying the earlier sunrises, later sunsets and warmth in the air up here in Brisbane! I know many of us are dreaming of that time when we can freely explore our regions and tourism hotspots again. In the meantime, Tourism Australia have helped create one of the pivots of the year with the "Live from Aus" live-streaming event. 32 tourism operators across Australia got together to demonstrate some of the great experiences Australia has to offer. Two of my favourites were the Phillip Island penguins (very cute!) and the cheesemaking in the Yarra Valley (divine!).

Socialise at Sunset was a great highlight last Friday and it continues to keep us connected and engaged. All the best to our Hobart members who will be enjoying the #techmindfulness luncheon with Mikala Grosse today - I am looking forward to hearing your feedback!

Don't forget to book your ticket for the WNA Christmas Charity Luncheon on Thursday 26 November. Today is the last day for the early booking rate!

I am also excited about Wednesday 16 September when we present the final episode in Season Two of our WNA Virtual Series! I am really proud of our WNA Leadership Team who have a diversity of expertise and passion to share with you. Each member of the Leadership Team will share a five minute update on their current business challenges and how they are working to overcome them. There will also be time at the end of the session for questions. Book your ticket here for 90 minutes of inspiration and learnings on how to fire up your business confidence!

In this communique, you will can find out more about how you can contribute to the 30-year anniversary souvenir edition of the WNA magazine! If you have a creative idea for a contribution, please reach out to me as soon as possible as we are busy in planning already!

I took the opportunity this week to share a blog on how to manage new business partnerships, joint collaborations or contracts - ultimately, it pays to listen to your inner voice! Karen Vercoe, you are spot on about minding your P's and Q's in the workplace by managing your temper and staying calm. Elevator pitches can be a unique part of your brand - thank you for teaching us more about "ultimately being ourselves" when pitching to others Jacqueline Nagle

This week is Australian Women's Health Week and I encourage all members to work towards your own sense of health using the Australian Women's Health Week resources. The wellbeing theme continues this week by recognising R U OK? Day yesterday. It highlights for me how important it is to reach out everyday to someone you care about. Our health and wellness really is a great part of our wealth.

As always, I am here to help, so please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Wishing you a wonderful weekend!

Janelle
