| | | Dear Guest,Following on from the fantastic Kamala Harris leadership news, I reflected on another wonderful leader and entrepreneur, Estee Lauder. She said simply, "I never dreamed about success. I worked for it". Poignant but true and it was heartening to continue the theme of wonderful Australian businesswomen stepping up into leadership roles within their business industries and organisations. I note two sport examples that are both powerful and fitting. Marne Fechner has stepped into the inaugural CEO role at AusCycling, and Kim Ng, is the first female General Manager of a Major League Baseball Team. Just a few examples that make me happy! There's less than a week to go until our WNA Christmas Charity Luncheon (Thursday 26 November) and I am yet to find an outfit! Our raffle prize list is superb so read on to take a look at all the fabulous prizes on offer and to book your online raffle tickets. I am excited to say we have filled the seats and our prize donations have now closed, but you can still be involved online - read on to find out how! Socialise at Sunset was fantastic last Friday and I am already excited to host our final one for 2020 in December. Stay tuned for more information on our next Friday arvo session! And a reminder for our Tasmanian WNA members that your next Hobart event is coming up on 4 December - find a great outfit and book your ticket!

I can't wait to hear how it all goes! Keep the great stories coming! Also big congratulations to Alison Rogers, WNA Leader in Tasmania, for making the finals of the REB Women in Real Estate Awards! | | | UNITING COMPANIES AND BOOSTING PERFORMANCE WITH WORK UNIFORMS!
What's a work uniform you say, as you sit on the couch in your jeans and shirt or comfy PJ's! While we have all been working remotely, in different cities and states, work uniforms have probably been the last thing on your business minds. However, in terms of capitalising on your brand messaging, culture and company cohesiveness, what your employees are wearing could be pivotal when meeting new clients or potential clients, in person or on Zoom. It's never been more important for our teams to feel united, confident, positive and engaged. A professional work uniform could be that added missing piece of your puzzle.
Four benefits of wearing a work or team uniform: - Promotion of your brand - they are a marketing tool and tell your brand's story by someone wearing it
- Promotion of equality - employees have a greater sense of team spirit and structure
- Promotion of loyalty - employees become brand ambassadors and advocates
- Boost to performance and sales - ensures your team acts, looks and feels the part to perform at their best
Read more about how an outfit can speak a thousand words to your employees and customers. | | | CHESS, GLORY AND A QUEEN!
The Queen's Gambit is an addictive TV series I haven't been able to stop watching! Check out the trailer!
Eight year-old orphan Beth Harmon is quiet, sullen, and by all appearances unremarkable. That is, until she plays her first game of chess. Her senses grow sharper, her thinking clearer, and for the first time in her life she feels herself and fully in control. By the age of 16, she's competing for the U.S. Open Championship. But as Beth hones her skills on the professional circuit, the stakes get higher, her isolation grows more frightening, and the thought of escape becomes all the more tempting. Anya Taylor-Joy is simply captivating as an actress in this limited edition TV series which is based on Walter Trevis' book - The Queens Gambit. | | | Do you know someone who would benefit from being part of WNA?
