| | | Dear Guest,
As a lot of our friends around the country enjoyed a long weekend, I reflected on the achievements of the 933 recipients of Queen's Birthday Honours. Business leaders, athletes, musicians, philanthropists and former politicians were honoured for their positive contributions to their communities and to Australia, both globally and domestically.
It reminded me that we are all making worthy contributions in our local communities and your hard work, passionate ideas, and love and support for your fellow WNA members is what makes our WNA network so special. Keep up the good work!
It was exciting to hear the trans-Tasman travel route is getting closer to re-opening in July which is great. Alongside Australia's internal borders re-opening soon this is vital for both country's economies to recover and flourish again.
I know that many of you are keen to develop your business skills. Check out the "membership" section below for a detailed list of links to online training that may assist you, along with tips and links to help protect your cybersecurity.
As a supporter of women's sport, I am excited to hear women's sport will be returning to our TV's and particularly the Suncorp Super Netball League will be returning to TV on August 1. It's been great to see young kids shooting hoops or kicking the soccer ball at the park and reacquainting with their friends at community sport level again. Sport needs our support more than ever!
Don't forget, Socialise at Sunset, our FREE virtual meet-up will run this Friday June 12 and Episode Six of our Virtual Series will beam live on Wednesday 17 June so register today!
Lastly, the WNA Winter Edition magazine is coming along fabulously. A big reminder to update your member profile and ensure your address details are correct so you can receive your magazine in the mail!
As always, I am here to help, so please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Wishing you a wonderful day!
